Courageous Books, a beloved independent bookstore in Michigan, opened its doors in September 2025 with the mission of making the world a better place through connection, caring, and our shared love of reading. As a proud member of the American Bookseller Association, this indie business offers a diverse range of books, including fiction, children’s literature, horror, fantasy, nonfiction, and manga, as well as literary-themed gifts and supplies for writing and art. We welcome recommendations from our community members and are always happy to order books if we don’t have them available at our Michigan bookstore.
